We're searching for an experienced Assistant General Manager to help our general manager plan and oversee the warehouse & showroom's day-to-day operations.
When the general manager is unavailable, you will be in charge of supervising personnel, dealing with client problems, and ensuring that our customers enjoy a family-like experience.
Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service while adhering to warehouse budget and quality standards.
An Associate's degree in warehouse management and two years of managerial experience in the warehouse or logistics industry are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Manage compliance with company or brand established policies and procedures and any local, state, and federal laws and regulationsCollaborate with department heads and the general manager to develop an annual budget, and assess performance throughout the year, making modifications as needed to preserve profitabilityMaintain proper operational adherence to the company's SOP policiesFrom time to time will be asked to help develop SOPs and PoliciesPlan future capacity requirementsYou may have to build or assist in building shelves, bins, or storage systemsYou may from time to time be required to move inventory and lift over 50 lbs.
You may from time to time be required to Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distributionResolves discrepancies regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reportsLogistics; managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveriesEnsures production and quality requirements are met according to company standardsProduce and maintain regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisKPI info, Employee Productivity, Inventory Analysis, etc.
Manage and plan reduction on daily warehouse material and operational costMaintain and ensure high standards of safety throughout operationsMotivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets and daily shipping percentages are metTraining staff and monitoring their performance and progressDelivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from upper managementKeeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairsThis position supervises all employees of the warehouse and is responsible for the performance managementSecures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems
Qualifications:
Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills3-5 years of warehouse experience and SupervisoryStrong knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators (KPIs)Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, and QuickBooksAbility to learn inventory back end and online ordering (ECWID or Clover)Implementing 5SOSHA training is a plusPlanning and scheduling skillsGood communication skillsGood team-building skillsVerbal and written communication skillsAbility to lead, manage, and motivate staffProblem-Solving skillsOrganizations SkillsAble to work with all levels of StaffKnowledge of WMS systemsEducation:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
